It’s really hard to top that one, don’t you think? But I’ve had some more crazy adventures that come pretty close.

Since I don’t really want to tell the story of EVERYTHING I’ve been a part of, I’ll give you the basic gist of the smaller ones. For instance,

For my best friend’s 21st birthday, I took her up to Rodeo Drive to shop and then we attended the CBS Fall Preview Party at the Paley Center. Needless to say, it was quite an adventure.

Drum Roll Please…

Best Experience of the YEAR! This is a good story. SO..

Pria and I decided last minute to head up to Universal Studios to try and get near the red carpet for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards which were being held at Gibson Ampitheatre. So we got up there pretty quickly and had lots of time to kill around Universal Citywalk. And it was HOT. So Pria and I were in shorts and t-shirts because we were expecting to be outside and it was no big deal. So we walked around trying to figure out where the red carpet was going to be but every security guard and awards personel we talked to said it was a closed red carpet for press only. Well nuts. We were kind of bummed after that. So we snuck down to the Hilton thats right there and snuck around to the back by the pool and got in to access the elevators and stuff. We really didn’t know what to do. Then a little girl got in our elevator who had forgotten her key and she had to get up to the penthouse suites to get her hair done! She had to have been some celebs little sister or something. Well so we left the hotel and went back to Citywalk. We decided to ask 1 more person if there was anyway we could see the red carpet or maybe wait for the after party. We chose this woman who looked important and had a headset on with a Teen Choice Awards badge that said Event Coordinator (or something close to that). So we asked her if there was anyway to see the red carpet or the arrivals for the after party and she said no. So we thanked her and started to walk away when she called us back. She then started to ask us questions like “had we ever been to any event like this before or who we wanted to see at the Teen Choice Awards?” So of course we answered no, and that we wanted to see the Twilight cast and a bunch of others. Then she pulls out two tickets to the awards and hands them over to us! She said she had to find someone to give them to and we sounded like we’d really enjoy the show. OH EM GEE RIGHT??! Pria and I hadn’t even tried to go to the awards because the tickets were so expensive! So naturally, we freaked out!

To not make this such a long story, we pretty much ran around Citywalk as excited as two 8 year old girlsĀ meeting the Jonas Brothers, and called our friends and family. Finally, it was time to go in to the show and everyone who was in line was super dressed up. Well crap, Pria and I were sweaty and in shorts. Oh well! We finally got in and ladies and gents, our seats were INCREDIBLE! We were in the friends & family of the crew section right in front on the aisle. So every celeb who had to get on stage for show and come off stage had to walk past us and behind us.

We got to meet a lot of celebrities- Corbin Bleu, Selena Gomez, the cast of I Carly, Megan Fox, and a bunch others. But we didn’t get to take any pictures with them because security was tight..and mean. But here are some cool pictures we got OF people haha

She Is Love

Basically, my friend Pria and I were supposed to go to see The Script & Parachute perform here in San Diego and the lead singer of The Script got sick so the show was cancelled. So Parachute felt bad and decided to play a small acoustic gig at Moonlight Beach up in Carlsbad.

and they signed my IPOD for me :)

The next one’s a doosie

Early in the summer, I believe it was in June, San Diego’s ComicCon was in town. I had the privelage of attending the preview night but that’s not even the exciting part. The exciting part is what ComicCon brought us San Diegans…the cast of Twilight! To promote the movie, and the cast, and blah blah blah, the Gaslamp Theaters showed Twilight with special introductions from the cast! *scream!*

It was a long day in the sun, waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Close to when we would be scooting inside, we heard screams. Two of us ran, and I mean ran, down to the theater enterance where the red carpet was, to see what was going on. Possibly arrivals? Better. We ended up getting sucked into the paparazzi which turned out to be a good thing because we werent shooed away by security. Mind you, cameras and papparazzi with cameras are tall. And I’m short. The pictures didnt turn out toooo well on account of me not being able to see what I was taking pictures of.

After they went inside, we ran back to tell our other friends what had just happened. Muahahaha.

So we waited some more, and finally we went inside the theaters and got our seats. The best part..came next.

yes..that’s Taylor Lautner.

100 Monkeys

A few weeks later, Jordyn & I drove all the way up to Anaheim to see The Chase open for the band 100 Monkeys. Ladies, we all know who’s in 100 Monkeys right? Si, Jackson Rathbone who plays Jasper in the Twilight Saga. The coolest part about this experience was that it was a small venue, intimate setting, and we got to see Jackson up close and personal! Before the rest of the world knew he was even in a band.

My special thank you to the band The Chase, for getting us tickets.

Twas about a year ago..

Most people think that my streak began when I magically got into the 2009 Teen Choice Awards..but I think it began even before that. In fact, it was around february of last year I believe… Jordyn, Erica & I went to a very intimate Gavin DeGraw concert here in San Diego. From this picture you can easily see that we were very close to Gavin. And this was when we were first introduced to the very talented Angel Taylor. If you don’t already know who she is, DL her cd Love Travels on Itunes. You won’t regret it.
